PHIL EADES

Owner- Instructor

Founder, Phil Eades was born and raised on the Northern Beaches, Sydney. Phil began playing the drums in 1993. In High School, his talents were quickly recognised when the two bands he played in were finalists in the premier youth event, Battle of the Bands. Phil has extensive live preformance experience being the drummer for The Chronics, Kill the Capitol, Behind Crimson Eyes, Thousand Needles in Red and Souled Out.

Phil continues to broaden and improve his skills with great artistic vision and devotion. Phil stresses a fun musical approach to the drum set and covers a wide range of topics, from balance, technique and independence, to musical concepts, soloing, odd time signatures and polyrhythms.

Along with private tuition, Phil also teaches at primary school band programs and camp clinics as a drum line instructor.
